Christian Counseling
Something just feels off for you. You don’t feel like yourself.
Maybe from the outside, your life looks pretty good.
You have people you love. You have a faith that matters deeply to you. You know God is good. You’ve spent time thinking, praying, talking things through, and trying to understand yourself.
And yet, something still feels… off.
You keep thinking about it, but you don't actually get anywhere.
You second-guess your choices. You wonder if you're overreacting. You know you need to speak up, but instead you shrink down. You have a hard time setting boundaries without feeling guilty. And sometimes, you find yourself asking:
“What's wrong with me?”
“I should be able to get over this.”
“I should know better.”
Maybe you've even wondered, “If I really trusted God, wouldn't I be able to let this go?”
But what if this isn't about something being wrong with you?
What if the way you're responding actually makes sense when you understand where it came from?
There may be more happening beneath the surface.
Sometimes the things we do to protect ourselves become so familiar that they start to feel like who we are.
The overthinking.
The self-doubt.
The need to figure everything out.
The shrinking down.
The shutting down.
The difficulty trusting your choices
These strategies may have served an important purpose at one point in your life. But something that once helped protect you may not be serving you in the same way anymore.
In therapy, we'll slow things down and get curious about what's happening underneath the surface.
I provide Christian counseling for individuals who would like to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process.
This approach creates a space where both emotional and spiritual healing can take place.
I help Christians who have concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, or questions related to faith and identity.
I also help Christians who have experienced religious trauma or hurt from/by the church, this is a place where you can explore and heal from those experiences.
My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can process difficulties and come to a place of peace
Whether your faith is a central part of your life or something you are still exploring, you are welcome here.
We'll explore the patterns that keep showing up, where they may have come from, and how they're affecting the way you relate to yourself and the people around you.
And rather than judging yourself for having these patterns, you'll begin to understand them with more compassion.
Because you don't have to be driven by an old belief system. You don't have to let an old strategy take over.
There is another pathway.
A pathway where you can speak up.
Set boundaries without being consumed by guilt.
Advocate for yourself.
Make choices without endlessly second-guessing yourself.
Stay connected to yourself instead of shrinking down or shutting down.
And experience a deeper sense of peace—not because life suddenly becomes easy, but because you begin to understand yourself differently and have more freedom in how you respond.
You don't have to choose between taking your psychological health seriously and having a deep relationship with God. We can make space for both.
Because maybe what you're really looking for isn't another person telling you what you should do.
Maybe you want someone who understands why this is so hard and can help you find a way forward.
You don't have to keep feeling stuck in the same patterns. I’m here to help!
