What are your fees?
Two accessibility spots currently available!
Sessions are 50 minutes 1x or 2x’s per week
Payment: Cash, check, or credit card are accepted forms of payment. Payment is taken after each session.
My fee per session is 200 for individuals & 240 for couples. I do have two sliding scale spots for people that are not able to afford this rate due to financial constraints. Please inquire if interested.
Insurance: I can provide an Out-of-network super bill for PPO insurances. Please speak with your insurance company to see if they will accept an out of network provider’s superbill. Some may require that you meet your deductible first.
Good Faith Estimate: A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a written estimate of the expected costs of mental health services for clients who are uninsured or who are not using their insurance benefits to pay for therapy. It was established under the No Surprises Act to help people understand and plan for healthcare expenses. You can ask your clinician for a good faith estimate before the start of treatment. https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy: Please remember to cancel or to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. You may cancel via text, email or phone. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours. I will waive the first late cancellation/no show/or reschedule each year.
Why attend therapy?
Sometimes we need someone outside of ourselves to help guide and direct us; an objective voice that can speak into our situation. Clients experience benefits in their relationships, work, faith, and mood when attending therapy. Therapy is a space for you to experience clarity and healing in various areas of your life.
What therapeutic modalities do you use?
I primarily use an approach called Dynamic Emotion Focused Therapy (DEFT ) which is affect driven therapy that is useful for bringing relief to all kinds of distress. I find it helps people connect with themselves as well as in their relationships. I also use an eclectic mix of therapeutic interventions that include; EMDR, experiential, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and play therapy depending on the needs of the person.
Do you offer a free consultation?
I offer a free consultation done over the phone. I use this time to get to know you and what brings you into therapy. This is also a great time for you to ask any questions regarding therapy or my style and see if we are a fit.
Do I have to be a Christian to see you?
No you do not, I respect where each client is at spiritually in their respective faith journeys. I have experience with clients that have a multitude of faith backgrounds.
How long does a session last?
About 50 minutes. I see most clients 1-2 times a week depending on need, we can discuss what works best with your schedule.
What is a sliding scale?
Generally speaking some therapists will leave open lower fee spots for clients that are not able to afford the full fee. The therapist will then "slide" lower then the full fee. This is dependent upon the therapist as well as the availability of these lower fee spots.
Who do you work with?
I work with young adults, adults, and the elderly. I also work with pre-marital or pre engaged couples.
